Senior QA Engineer (Manual + Automation) 

• Key Responsibilities 

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into clear, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and test plans.  

• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing across web-based applications.  

• Design, execute, and maintain test scenarios ensuring high product quality and reliability.  

• Document test execution results, defects, and overall testing progress with clarity and precision.  

• Conduct database testing, including writing SQL queries to validate data integrity and backend processes.  

• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA team members in an Agile environment to ensure high-quality releases.  

• Contribute to test automation efforts using Cypress and JavaScript, including reviewing automated test results and improving test coverage.  

• Actively participate in CI/CD processes, preferably using Azure DevOps, for test planning, execution, and reporting.  

• Quickly understand new applications, workflows, and business domains to support evolving QA needs. 

 
Required Skills & Experience 

• 5+ years of experience in software testing with strong focus on functional testing.  

• Proven expertise in writing detailed test cases, test plans, and defect reports.  

• Hands-on experience with Cypress automation framework and JavaScript.  

• Strong understanding of SQL and database testing concepts.  

• Experience working with Azure DevOps for test management and CI/CD workflows (preferred).  

• Solid understanding of end-to-end testing lifecycle in Agile/Scrum environments.  

• Ability to analyze complex business workflows and identify edge cases.  

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.  

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
